11:00 am - Sophia Antipolis - INRAE PACA

As part of the ISA's Scientific Animation, on Friday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. in Room A010, Sylvie Warot (IDMABIO/RDLB Team); Madalina Viciriuc (IDMABIO/RDLB Team); Vincent Calcagno (M2P2 Team), and Myriam Siegawart (INRAE - PSH Unit – Avignon) will present :

Abstract :

At INRAE ISA, the joint molecular biology laboratory is equipped with a MinION sequencer from Oxford Nanopore Technologies.

We will present the basic principles of this next-generation sequencing technology, as well as several projects carried out using this equipment and the challenges encountered during their implementation.

Examples discussed will include the sequencing of PCR products (barcoding) and whole-genome sequencing, particularly in Trichogramma and Cydia pomonella.
